bella, a sound-visual artist and electronic instrument builder, investigates the physical and magical possibilities of matter-sound as well as of light. Their eclectic output includes sound installations, live performances, sound and multimedia pieces, video, and more. bella is currently finishing a Master in Creative Processes in Music at Universidade São Paulo [USP]. A 2019 CTM Music Makers Hacklab resident, bella has taken part in multiple artist residencies across Brazil, Switzerland and Portugal, as well as in numerous art exhibitions. In addition to their work as a solo artist, bella is a member and co-creator of meteoro, a project formed by non-binary and women in the sound arts field.
