This month, 2015 alum Tariro neGitare is consulting on a project called Triple V Tour Zambia, run by Young Women in Action in Zambia. The project uses concerts and social media as tools for voter education and for mobilizing young people to vote ahead of Zambia’s 2016 elections. Tariro is excited to be working with B Flow, a Mandela Washington Fellow, on the project. The official launch of the tour was on April 7th, with an event held at the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka, Zambia, with about 300 guests in attendance. The tour ran from April 7th until May 15th, 2016. Tariro also recently helped to host TechWomen in Zimbabwe, meeting the participants alongside OneBeat 2014 fellow Hope Masike.
