Nicole Luján is a Mexican sound artist and producer based between Berlin and Mexico City. She plays solo as RSNNC and is one half of the duo Post Neo. Through the use of drum machines, synthesizers, voice and field recordings, her sound explores the meeting points of different music genres, oscillating from noise to pop to latin rhythms and IDM. Venturing also into lighting and electronics, her artistic practice is an ongoing search towards new languages. Interested in questions around what sound can touch, she has also taken part in several social endeavors – developing sound projects in detention centers, indigenous communities and lately with people with disabilities.
