Inés Terra

Inés Terra is an Argentina-born São Paulo-based vocalist and producer. She explores the voice as a way of inhabiting different bodies and as a connection within creation processes. Inés is currently pursuing her PhD at Universidade de São Paulo, where she specializes in vocal performance as a bodily inscription, studying relations between gender, voice and technology. Inés is the co-creator and curator of Língua Fora, which fosters a shared space for improvisation and presents work informed by “the power of voices beyond words intersecting with analog and digital technologies”. Inés is also an educator, and has released albums as Ruminar (Editora Leviatã), Ferrugem (Seminal Records) with Cadós Sanchez, and Teia (RKZ Records) with Julia Teles.
