Ben Zucker is an experimental musician currently based in Chicago, interested in creating environments for speculation through sound. His practice involves ever-changing hybrids of contemporary classical composition, free improvisation, and multimedia sound design, often involved as a performer on brass, percussion, voice, keyboards, and electronics. His work has been featured at events such as the New York Fringe Festival, International Audio Branding Academy, Banff International Workshop for Jazz & Creative Music, and the Ostrava New Music Days, among others. Ben actively works across various Chicago music and theater scenes, in addition to serving as a teacher, curator, and labor organizer using musical exercises and concepts to facilitate student labor activist trainings and interventions around the city.
