2016 Alumnus Tedi En’s non-profit organization, Jatiwangi Art Factory, will join a number of fellow Indonesian artistic collectives to be featured in the 15th edition of Documenta, an exhibition of contemporary art which takes place every five years in Kassel, Germany. Jatiwangi were chosen by the Jakarta-based group Ruangrupa, who will serve as the artistic directors of the 2022 exhibition. With the aim of eliminating the typical hierarchies that exist in exhibition-making, Ruangrupa, enlisted the help of 10 art collectives from Indonesia to create a globally oriented, cooperative, interdisciplinary arts and culture platform for the exhibition, which will take place between June 18th and September 25th, 2022, in Kassel Germany.
