A recipient of the State Department’s 2017 Alumni Innovation Fund, SAWA is a Lebanon-based arts incubator founded by producers Samer Chami (OneBeat 2015) and Youmna Saba (OneBeat 2012). Aimed at bridging the “divide within [the] country’s recent social and political history”, SAWA’s 2017 program brought together 12 diverse musicians together for a two week residency and educational program at Jezzine HUB, outside of Beirut.
