Makram Aboul Hosn is a mainstay of the Beirut music scene. In any given week, you can find him playing bass in any number of jazz, rock, classical, and Arabic groups on stages across town. Makram has released two solo albums, Parallel (2018), a spontaneous duet recording with pianist Jeremy Siskind, and Transmigration (2021), written for saxophones, flutes, vibraphone, vocals, bass, drums, and percussion. Currently, Makram teaches jazz performance at Notre Dame University Louaize.
