Maguette Diop, AKA Magui, is a rapper from Pikine, Senegal. She spent her childhood in Yeumbeul and discovered her passion for music during school break hour freestyle sessions. She later joined a group of rappers and eventually began her solo career. Magui was appointed as an ambassador for the Dolel Senegal campaign to combat global warming and she participated in Flow Up, the largest rap competition in Senegal, where she was a finalist. She also won the RAP 221 Woman of the Year 2022 award, which recognizes the best female rapper in Senegal, with her project Classroom. Magui enjoys collaboration and is looking to experience it on a worldwide scale.
