Aditya Alamuru is a rising Bangalore-based producer. Between rigorous hours studying architectural acoustics, Aditya found himself helping out at local recording studios and eventually began composing eclectic homespun beats on his laptop. Releasing two independent EPs as MALFNKTION to great acclaim, Aditya’s genre-bending production pays homage to classic hip hop and electronica while incorporating touches of traditional Indian folk instrumentation. Outside of his prolific touring schedule, Aditya is currently developing a project called Music for All, which teaches music production courses to youth in his city through training on accessible mobile phone-driven software.
