Zoe Molelekwa is a South African pianist and composer. Zoe has received mentorship from an impressive cohort of South African pianists including,Themba Mkhize, Afrika Mkhize and Nduduzo Makhathini, and performed as a sideman for many celebrated artists including OneBeat 2017 alumni Mandla Mlangeni, Standard Bank Young Artist winner Siya Makuzeni, Professor Salim Washington, and Nduduzo Makhathini. He recently featured on the critically acclaimed jazz compilation record Indaba Is released on Giles Peterson’s UK-based Brownswood label with the band Iphupho L’ka Biko. Zoe is currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music as a Hugh Masekela Heritage Scholar.
