Victor Angeleas is a multi-award winning mandolin player, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. Victor holds degrees in music from the University of Brasilia, and later served as a professor at the Music School of Brasilia, one of the largest public music education institutions in Latin America. Angeleas imprints in his interpretations and creations a modern and original vision of music, mixing musical and cultural influences from his country with influences from world music. He has performed on different stages locally and globally, boasting collaborations with many important musical figures in Brazil — including Mônica Salmaso, one of Brazil’s greatest living singers. Today he is a member of multiple award-winning musical groups such as Gypsy Jazz Club, Sai da Frente, Face Musical, Face Quarteto and Samba Urgente.
