Sasha Elina is a Moscow-based curator and performer. As a flute player and vocalist, she performs as a member of The Same Ensemble and other collaborative projects. Her major curatorial projects include Music Space Architecture Festival, the RASSADA open-air concerts (6th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art) and the STIKOVKA program (New Tretyakov Gallery), along with many others. Since 2017, she has been the director of the Moscow experimental music ensemble DianaPlaysPerception. Fascinated by audience’s response to music in relation to place and architecture, Sasha’s artistic and curatorial practice allows explores the relationality between sound and space.
