Rami Syahbandi is a Pontianak-based sound and visual artist who focuses on exploring audio, music, sound art, and visual art. Interested in the relationship of environmental, cultural, and popular culture issues with electronic and visual art, he is a versatile artist that has worked on a diverse range of projects, from acoustic composition to video work to electronic music productions to multi-channel installations. Since completing his music studies at Tanjungpura University Music Department in 2018, he has been an active collaborator of Sonikustik, a musical community dedicated to developing and preserving regional arts through collaboration with the goal of creating new ideas around artistic creation.
