Onyebeat is a Music Producer, Film Score Composer, Sound Engineer and Singer/Songwriter. He has music production credits on projects with notable African acts like Prinx Emmanuel, Josh2funny, Noire Velours, Mr. Raw, Xpected, O’Lyncilia and many others. As a Film Score composer, he has written themes for several Nollywood movies, most recently the movie Strained directed by Okey Oku, slated to be released globally on Netflix from April 2024 and Violet, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. He is one of Nigeria’s foremost music producers and originator of Afro-Choral; a genre that blends Neo-Classical, Contemporary and African Indigenous Choral Music with Afrobeat(s). He is passionate about youth education, and hopes to encourage the revival of the African folktale culture for the younger generation to use these ancient stories as a basis for creating original music and films.
