Miles Ananda is a Los Angeles-born multi-medium artist. First a poet, he has since honed and expounded on his passion for words, integrating elements of music production, film direction, songwriting and apparel design. Miles first started writing, recording and performing music at 11 years old. At 13, he was included on a children’s book complication soundtrack featuring Mos Def and Talib Kweli. Now at 24, he has an extensive portfolio of over a decade of work threaded with themes of self reflection, cultural awareness and social justice. His work and mission have allowed him to lead workshops around the world. He has worked at schools with students of all ages in Japan, Sierra Leone, The Bahamas and in the US.
