Jose Morales Jr., a.k.a Ryke, is a talented Caloocan City-based emcee, songwriter and producer. A self-taught engineer and video director, Jose is the owner of the well-known recording studio Sound Sanctuary. Performing as a solo artist as, Jose is a leader in the burgeoning Tagalog hip-hop scene. A YES ASEAN Fellow, Jose won ALAB’s “Top Hiphop Artist” award and has performed at FUSION’s Philippine Music Festival. Jose has also participated in the U.S. State Department’s American Voices program, where he collaborated with talented young artists from throughout Southeast Asia and the U.S.
