Ivana Bandalo is a skilled Kaštela-based clarinetist and educator. She attended the Arts Academy at the University of Split, and has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician at numerous festivals across Europe, including Croatia Days of New Music, Zagreb Music Biennale and Opatija Music Tribune. An accomplished performer, Ivana has won numerous awards, including the Vinko Lesić Cycle Award, the 1st International IMKA Award and the Rector’s Award for Excellence. Following a run playing with Split National Theatre, Ivana joined the teaching staff of Split Art Academy and performs regularly in Duo Diviant with guitarist Antonija Škorput. Ivana is a dedicated educator and is devoted to the development of children’s education. Her pedagogical and auctorial work is centered on understanding the connection between sound, body and architecture, as well as the act of performance through the exploration of psychology and various acting techniques.
