OneBeat Fellow Lara Klaus recently released her debut solo album Força do Gesto. On this album, the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist explores unique percussion combinations that incorporate everything from the drum kit to many instruments with African roots.
The album features contributions from fellow OneBeat alumni Daniela Serna (who is Lara’s bandmate in LADAMA), Alex Asher, and Domenica Fossati.
