OneBeat 2013 alumnus, Darbuka Siva, has once again showcased his exceptional talent in the world of music composition, this time for the Disney Plus original series ‘Mathagam’. The series, directed by Prasath Murugesan, stars prominent actors Atharvaa, Manikandan, Nikhila Vimal, and DD (Dhivyadarshini).
Well-established in the Indian film circuit, Darbuka is not just a composer but also a seasoned actor and director. His directorial debut, ‘Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee‘ (2022), which premiered on the Zee 5 OTT platform, garnered widespread acclaim, breaking significant box office records within the first ten days of its release. The film’s popularity was bolstered by its music, composed by Darbuka himself, which resonated widely with audiences, sparking over 50,000 reels on Instagram in the first twenty days of its release.
