Domenica Fossati is a Latin Grammy winning flutist, recording artist, and educator currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Influenced by a wide range of musical styles including jazz, rock, and hip hop, her work oscillates gracefully between art music and pop. An electrifying performer, Domenica Fossati is the front-woman of the global dance music group, Underground System. The ensemble has gained notoriety opening for Femi Kuti, Tony Allen, Orlando Julius, and Bombino, and is quickly becoming a fixture in New York’s dance nightlife. 2018 marked the release of their debut LP  What Are You on Soul Clap Records. The album is a deep 10 track look into the group’s mix of talented personnel and profound sonic diversity.  As a teaching artist, Ms. Fossati is advocates for music education, working with outreach programs for at-risk children.
