Lav Kovač is a Serbian percussionist and drummer with extensive experience collaborating across genres (future-pop, rock, chiptune, acoustic) and culture. Inspired to create new music in Serbia and the Balkans after living and studying in the Netherlands, he founded the music collective Horz that facilitates collaborations between local musicians and diverse artists from around the world. He is currently assembling a project called, Alphabet of the Forest, that will map visual, auditive and textural events within a real life forest, with the intention of mapping communications between the plants inside of it. This will be featured in a digital gallery, within a virtual 3D environment and accessible to people of various abilities.
