Lemrabott Dhaker, aka DJ Dhaker, is a self-taught producer and composer whose releases are popular throughout Mauritania with videos that have millions of views online, such as “Saken Bali”, a track featuring vocalist Mouna Dendenni. His work echoes influences from both within and outside of Mauritania, and he has collaborated with successful Mauritanian musicians such as Garmi Ment Abbe and Mouna Dendenni. His work demonstrates heart and a passion for using music to unite people.
