A virtuoso performer and prolific producer in Minsk’s independent music scene, Denis Kudryavcev plays with an eclectic assortment of ensembles, ranging from avant jazz to traditional folk. “It is simpler to find harmony with an unknown instrument, than with some people,” remarks Dennis, an autodidact who has taught himself guitar, bass, drums and piano along with recording studio know-how. He has also worked with activist theater groups, recently touring with a troupe across Poland, Italy and Germany performing work dedicated to Holocaust victims. Denis currently devotes his time to his songwriting project Sinie Gory, as well as numerous other bands including the Bangalors, Masque Noir and Lin Ua.
