2015 alumnus Bajram Kinolli’s band Gipsy Groove were one of the 9 groups selected for the MOST Balkan Music Export Program. The program builds a bridge connecting the Balkans and the global music market, providing professional training and mentoring, assistance with artist portfolio, and access to professional and networking events for its selected artists. Jury members for this yea’s MOST Balkan Music Export Program included Simon Broughton, Editor-in-chief of Songlines magazine; Olsi Sulejmani, President of Balkan World Music Management and Balázs Weyer, Program Director of MOST and Hangvető.
As a result of this opportunity, Gipsy Groove’s track, ‘I Run Away’, will be featured on a Selection CD in the November 2020 issue of Songlines Magazine. Listen to the track here.
