A Makotaay-based Amis musician and organizer, Anu Kaliting Sadipongan sings from the ocean shores of his hometown, channeling his Pangcah ancestry and an innate artistry that is both timeless and effortless. A prolific songwriter, Anu has written and produced 3 albums and 1 EP of Amis-language material. Critics in Taiwan and abroad have praised his songs’ tender melodies, which blend traditional sensibilities with modern rock and roll influences, and introspective lyrics which deconstruct the contemporary culture of Taiwan’s East Coast.
