On this final night of the OneBeat residency, we are thrilled to return to ACA and bring together 25 musicians hailing from an astounding 19 different countries. This diverse and talented ensemble includes experimental musicians, producers and DJ’s from the dance floors of Manilla, Philippines to Nairobi, Kenya; enchanting folk songs of Nepal; the vibrant pulse of Dakar, Senegal; and the mesmerizing sounds of Iraqi percussion to name but a few!

How Bāzār, Pulp Arts and OneBeat are thrilled to team up for another Open Mic Takeover at the How Bāzār Concept store in Downtown Gainesville. After an incredible community show this spring, we are excited to return with a brand new group of 25 inspiring artists from 19 countries around the world. From the heart-pounding beats of Manila’s underground rave scene to the hypnotic melodies of Nepalese folk artists, the infectious rhythms of Lagos, Nigeria, and the experimental electronics of Nairobi, Kenya – this is a sonic journey that will transcends borders and genres. The evening will also see performances from Gainesville locals Suddenly, Mace and 9th Ring as well as DJing by Jeremiah Ludicrous.
