Rosie Tucker

Composer, Songwriter

Los Angeles, United States

A recent graduate of USC, Rosie Tucker founded MUSE (Musicians Unite in Support of Equality), her university’s first student group aimed at addressing the needs of underserved female musicians and music professionals. “I believe that a critical examination of approaches to music making can illuminate the principles and values of listeners, performers, individuals, and groups alike,” says Rosie, who also works as a music educator and guitar teacher. Rosie currently performs with Gypsum, an all-female four-piece post-rock band and is an accomplished producer. She released her debut solo album, Lowlight, last year and continues to compose music for film.
