Bajram Kinolli is a vocalist and singer-songwriter from Kosovo. Coming from a traditional Roma family, he hails from a long line of musicians and performers. Early on, Bajram found a significant source of inspiration in the music of Bob Marley, realizing how to use his talents to speak about social and human rights issues through music. For the last 5 years, he has led Gipsy Groove, a successful band that fuses Balkan music with reggae, jazz, and funk, with the expressed purpose of emphasizing the role of music in the peacebuilding process. As a human rights activist, he has worked for a number of NGOs in Kosovo and around the Balkan region.
